Possible LS swap into a 92 hatch, need info first.
My friend and I went to the junkyard today so I could get a stock replacement motor so's i can sell the corolla without the 4age in it. Well, he saw honda DOHC motor, it had an LS head with no vtec solenoid, but it had a B18C1 block, and the guy at the junkyard said it came out of a 91 integra. He said he'd give my friend the motor, tranny, ecu, shift linkage, and axles (didn't know if he had them though) for 900. But the motor had no engine harness. He wants to know if a 92 DX civic hatch with the D16Z6 wire harness would work with that particular engine. And will the stock integra mounts work to bolt the motor into the hatch?
Thanks for any input and if i've mis-said something it's cuz i'm a yota guy and he's the honda-head, and i can't understand his jibber jabber lol, thanks.

your 92 sohc harness will work, except for you'll have to add a few more wires. does the motor come with the mounts? if so you will need them.

Are you totaly sure about the whole block and head thing it sounds fishy and I wouldn't play with it.

I went up there its a B18A1 from a 91 integra. He has everything I need the wireharness, and mounts, axles, ecu, tranny, linkage. But isn't a 91 have a cable tranny let me know guys if it's worth 900. I'm running a sohc-t right now but I wanna boost the Ls if I get it

THe b18a1 does come with the cable tranny...which is a bitch to convert to hydro. I would just get the longblock then buy a shorter geared b series hydro tranny...
