Default Possibe Alternator Problem?

Hi, today very spontaneously my car started to run very strangely. I started my car and everything in the car failed to recieve power. My radar, my headunit/speakers, my guage cluster was way dimmer than usual, and the needles for the speedometer was not moving at all and the needle for the tachometer was jumping around and was not stable at a current revolution. What is going on with my car here, someone please help?

sounds like the alternator. You can actually remove the alternator and take it to Autozone and have them test it to see if the alternator is bad

Is it possible that this may also be caused by a loose ground somewhere. The problem happened spontaneously...I mean I drove the car, shut it off, drove it 3 hours later and the problems were there. ALternators dont just suddenly go bad like that do they?

take your alternator to autozone to get a definitive answer.
if thats not your problem (but i'd bet it is), check your grounds and battery terminals.
