you'll get cel from 5 wire o2 sensor. egr on vx wont function since the p28 doesn't have egr. try it ...see what these two missing components do to your car? make it run stronger i dont think so...may make it run richer

Makes sense... i was just wondering, but a couple of my friends told me to get an ex or si tranny also... I beat it would feel a lot better since the VX tranny has some really really low gear ratio's... Thanks for the info !!

Don't waste your time with a stock P28. I've tried running a P28 on a VX engine with a properly wired 4-wire O2 sensor. The thing was even slower than with the stock P07.
A tuned P28 on a VX engine would probably yield some gains over the stock P07 though. You are gonna lose out on the great gas mileage though.
