Re: Over heat problem (JDM EX)
could be the thermostat or fan switch?
either of them are cheap and easy to install
plus they are both regular manitence so i would just change them
mugen fan switch/mugen rad cap/spoon thermostat

Re: Over heat problem (one_honda)
THanks bro.. I barely have time to check what's wrong with my Civic.. I go college in out of town and I came home on weekend.. If the fan switch is not on, how can I turn it on.. Is it the fuse, or wire... Let me know and thanks for helping me...

Re: Over heat problem (JDM EX)
how high is it overheating?? Turn on your car, and wait about 10 minutes and see if the fan turns on. You can check the fan motor by connecting wire from the battery to the terminals on the fan switch. Check the relay fuse also. It could be the t stat, but usually doesn't go out that quick...could be your head gasket too- don't wanna make you worry. Is your overflow tank puking out???

Re: Over heat problem (Emerica)
Thanks for reply.. Im not sure the headgasket has a problem.. If the headgasket have problem, they suppose to show the color of the smoke coming out of exhaust right... Im going to check the radiator fan to see if it on and if not, maybe I will check the fuse too.. Thanks for helping me out...
