Ordered LMA - need torque specs
Its for a 1998 Honda Civic EX Vtec 4cyl. I ordred the LMA from Majestic, should get them by this weekend. It looks fairly easy to replace. I was wondering if anyone knew the torque specs for the top LMA holder that bolts to the head (right above the valve train). Thanks!!!

Re: Ordered LMA - need torque specs
Thanks! Maybe I am missing something, but I was told on here that for the top end LMA's on a 4cyl vtec engine I did not have to remove the timing belt/cam etc. since they sit on top. Yet looking at the pics from the link, when I pull the top LMA holder is the cam going to move up due to the pressure from the belt??? I was hoping this was a simple job where you pull the LMA holder off, replace LMA's and bolt back on, and your done. Please let me know. Thanks again!!!
OK, maybe not, after looking at my other post with pics... https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-civic-del-sol-1992-2000-1/looks-like-tapping-noise-valve-train-advice-2943276/
OK, so if I understand this correctly the LMA holder is SEPERATE from the bolts that hold the rocker arm assembly and top cam holders?

depends on what motor you have in your car. if its a B series then you need to remove/loosen the timing belt. if its a D series you just need to take the valve cover off and then you can pretty much see where the lma's are and its respective holder.
