obd3 gsr motor in a del sol?
i have a friend who got rearended in his 2001 gsr. now i have the option of buying it back from the insurance company. Is it a direct drop in to my 93 del sol s? is there a difference between dropping this in and a obd 1 b18c1? I've heard two different stories about the shift linkage fitting? some say it will some say it wont. any ideas?

yeah me too, never heard of obd3. yes, a dohc vtec del sol shift linkage is the only one you should use. modifiying another shift linkage (cutting and welding) is a waste of money unless you can do it yourself. as far as a drop in swap, it is...but i'm not exactly sure if a 93 S is pre-wired for vtec. i dropped a obd1 98 gsr into my si, all you had to do is wire up the knock and the iab.
