Bad deal. You'll find something cleaner for $5k.

definitely not worth it...97 civics price ranges around 4000-6000 but salvage title will make it hard to sell back once you wanna change cars. try edmunds, kbb, classifieds, and try to get an average.

I would say that's too high. I paid $4900 for this . It has the usual few dings, but is in great shape overall. I would wait for something better. Good luck.

don't buy it, there are numerous hatches on ebay that are much better of a deal.....just search around, you will find something that you like......

A while ago, I was lookin' on Autotrader around my area for an EK hatch, I found a 97 black CX, 89k miles, AT , ran great for only 4000. I went out to test drive it just for fun, great car. Wish I had the money to buy it.

Yeah, thats a bit spendy. A friend of mine built a 97 hatch last summer with 99 SI front clip/ctr lip, CF duckbill, coilovers, new FBP paint, super clean interior and exterior, on SI wheels for $6k and had a hard time getting that even with clean title.

Re: (TwistedSI)
Seems a little extreme. The ONLY bonus you get when you buy a salvaged vehicle is the price...this should be a dirt cheap kinda price.
