New member with a question
Ok need to make up my mind on what motor to drop into a hatch, and should I get an eg or an ek.
Last car was a 2000 lude.
Looking to go n/a.

So what exactly is the question, what motor to swap, into what car, how much do you want to spend, street or strip, etc??? Late

it all depends...a 92-95 is very compatible with alot of swaps...ou want to go vtec?....specify your question and i will try and help

My personal opinion is EG, but i'm slightly biased << (94 Civic Si owner)
If you are on a budget, go for a b16a2 (make sure to get a2 so you get the hydro tranny), if you have all the money in the world to spend get a b18c5. If you are somewhere in between, get a b18c1. And if you desperately have a need for boost get a b18b (lower compression. can boost to hell and back). The reason i say EG is that it looks cooler and is lighter. The Si is a beast but it has a nicer stance, sunroof, and fourwheel disc breaks. Good luck finding those features on any EK hatches. LOL
