New Clutch YEAH!!, but....
Finally changed my clutch this weekend but by today it feels like nothing changed. The pedal is soooo soft and clutch feels like its slipping or engaging late. I thought getting a new clutch would feel like when you first got the car. What else did I forget to do?
Thanks

Yeah that's what I forgot to do. I forgot that it's a hydraulic clutch. Any preferences on hydraulic fluid? I don't know if its brake fluid or what to put in the reservoir. My manual was stolen when my car was broken into last summer. It does state use DOT3 or 4.

I think you can change the engagement point by adjusting the clutch pedal attached to the clutch master cylinder (from inside). You just loosen the nut and turn the shaft. My friend's 240 had a problem with his clutch it would only grap when it was cold and when things heated up, it began to slip. We went through two clutches this way not knowing the problem. Stupid nissan dealer. they were the ones to install the clutch master cylinder and they did not even bother to adjust it. I dont know about the softness. you cant adjust that.

This same thing happend to me... I installed a clutch and even did the 500 mile break in... My cluth engages with the pedal almost all the way out, and it slips like crazy when shifting... I should have went with an aftermarket clutch....
