I just noticed today that there seems to be alot of play at the top of my clutch. I can push it about 1.5-2"'s before anything even starts to engage. Is this a sign that my clutch is going, or can this be adjusted?
thats how my clutch is too...the new si's are even worse. That goddamn thing catches when it is almost out. I dont think that the clutch is going, just thats how it is.
There'a a height adjustment, but I don't think it'll cure what you're describing. That's the "free play", and it's normal. Bleed your clutch fluid at the slave cylinder to be sure you have fresh juice. If your clutch disk is gone, it'll be slipping.
