why does my clutch pedal feel so soft?
when we did a clutch job on my car i noticed that the clutch pedal got really soft. so what would i have to do to stiffen it up? i know it involves a process of someone pumping the clutch pedal and then another person putting in fluid. but unfortunately i was the guy inside the car pumpin the clutch pedal so i didn't get to see where he put the fluid. can anyone give me the steps?

Its pretty easy. Step 1 pump the clutch 3or 4 times then hold down. Step 2 someone on the outside release the bleeder valve on the tranny slave cylender and do that as many time to release the air. Once it's nothing but fluid running through it. And make sure the clutch reservoir is always full. I'm sure theres a you tube video of it. Good luck
