Find a bigger motor your not going to run anything worth a **** with that 1.5 enless you want to dump aot of money into it ...Id reccoment a b18B1 for there prices which is normaly a full swap for 1500 or a b16a2 which is closer to 2+ and up both are great motors to start with .

i took a ride in a guys car a few weeks ago. he had a 93 cx with a dx motor and still had the crappy cx trans. he had basic i/h/e and a jacksonraing super charger. i was impressed. maybe look into getting a d16z6 swap and then put a super charger or turbo kit on it. i'm currently building a d16z6 motor with 13:1 compression for my 92 hatch. should run faster than a gsr swap from what i hear.

It's going to take more than high compression to beat a GSR swap.

Dont doubt the SOHC . Theres plenty of SOHC running mid 14's with some pistons/rods and I/H/E clutch flywheels . Talk to Mr. Bone whos running a 75 shot i belive and running low 13's . If my memory servers me correct

I wouldn't waste anytime with a D15 unless you got the money.
D16's have pretty good potential, but if you're looking for the most common way to do this, I'd say go with a B18B... that's what I did, it's a pretty good bang for your buck.

Didn't say there weren't. I used to drive a boosted SOHC that kicked a lotta ***. But my statement still stands. It's going to take more than high compression to compete with a GSR swap.
