Need Help Spending Money on del sol
i have a completely stock 93 del sol s with a d15b7 motor. the motor has 148000 miles and i really want to swap it. i was looking at the gsr, but my real question is how to spend the $5500-$6000 i will have after selling my truck. i would like to get close to the 250hp-300hp range i do want to fix up the exterior a lil bit too. not much just maybe some coilovers and a body kit. any ideas?

probably get a Type-r or H22 swap. And do the suspension and brakes with the money that is left over. All that power i no good if you can't handle well, or stop quickly.

if you can get a descent deal on a swap you could get an LS swap with a turbo setup... that would put you in that range

I second the H22, stock 200hp (jdm), even mild turbo setup will put you right around where you want, if not higher.
