Need Help On Del Sol
ok i have a 93 del sol and im havin problems wit trans/clutch area lol the only way to throw car in "R" is to turn the car off.............to throw it in any gear it has to be around 2k-3k rpms........ but anyways the other day i was drivin it and popd out of 2rd and the car no longer moves.. lol wat is it? trans or clutch? thanks

yea fluid levels are all good............... also i can throw the trans in gear without pressing the clutch petal down..... and no grinding noise or nuttin

Drop the trans and look at the clutch. If it's broken, replace the clutch. If it's not broken, replace the trans.
You're going to have to drop it no matter what; might as well get started.

just changed trans and still the same thing this trans shift alot smoother but i can throw the trans in gear without using the clutch petal!!!! help?

and the car still doesn't move?? you can run it through all the gears and nothing happens? with it started? i had that problem and replaced the slave cylinder and everything was A ok. might not be the fix to your problem though

axles are in yea car is on jackstand but no type of movement also i can switch gears without touchin clutch petal and no grinds this trans is a lot better than the old one help lol

i thought my problem was clutch but we took it out and it was fine so we put it back in and replaced the slave cylinder and it started working lol. might have just been a miracle

have someone sit in the car while you look at the slave cylinder. Pull the boot back to see if it is plunging into the tranny.
Oh yeah, you can always shift through the gears when the car is off, even if the clutch is not engaged.
I can only give you so much help with the little info you have given. Just make sure you don't have any leaks from the clutch cylinder, resovoir and slave cylinder.
