need help!!!! car overheating
ok this started 2weeks ago the top radiator hose had a big split in it.ok changed that, thought it was fixed.. sike. then changed thermostat same thing, so i change water pump i thought for sure that fixed it. so i went to work. everything was fine drove to a house about 15 min away. got to the house heard it boiling in the radiator ****,but it wasnt overheating so i made it all the way to the stop light before pizza place the needle starts rising so i pull over and let her cool down. and i just changed the thermostat again"the old gasket was all worn down so i just replaced it again" still overheating... so i need some help ht members its not a blown head gasket no oil in coolant vice versa please help thanks

Have you checked to see if the radiator fan is coming on?
As for pressurizing the system you need a tester that fits over the radiator and it has a gauge with a squeeze handle and you pump it up the right psi, and you check for leaks etc.

This. I had this happen to me. My radiator fan went bad and wasn't coming on. At idle, at a dead stop, it was enough to cause the car to overheat.
Did you try bleeding your coolant system to get air bubbles out? If there is air bubbles in your coolant system, the temp gauge will rise while your car sits still. When you start driving, the temp will decrease back to normal.
