Need HELP with B18C
I have a 2000 civic hatch that i bought with a B18C motor swap. When i got it, it had a obd2 engine harness with a P2P ECU running it. The person who did it used a OBD2 dizzy but shaved it to fit(it was only being held in with one bolt). I got a P72 ECU and bought a a new dizzy (obd1) but had to change the plug on the dizzy to make it work. When I pluged the P72 in i lost my VTEC and now im getting engine codes 23 and 43. Now its missing every now and then. Just isnt running right. Is there an easy way to make this swap work. Car is OBD2 and motor is OBD1. If anyone can help i would appericate it. If there is anyone who has done this swap could point me in the right direction.
Thanks for any help Rob

Re: Need HELP with B18C
all you need is the correct obd2 distributer/you can put a obd1 in a 2 and the other way around.your alt is the other diferent plug between obd 1/2.but anyway ya go obd2 dist. or if you want obd1 dist to be used password jdm make a jumper.also not sure if its the same for your case because i have a b18c jdm 98 spec itr swap, but i had to eitheir use the jdm itr ecu or get a obd2-1 jumper and a obd1 ecu so it could be chipped for my motor.the jdm motor dont have some sensors that a usdm ecu looks for"like a "cpk sensor" for example.

Re: Need HELP with B18C
Car is in limp mode, has to do with the crank position sensor I think. OBD1 vs OBD2, there is a difference but I can't remember what.
