I currently have magnaflow catback + testpipe exhaust on my 92 Civic CX. I'm just a bit worried it might be too loud for autoX so I'm trying to find a silencer for it. Will a vibrant silencer fit in my magnaflow muffler?

Magnaflow specs:

Material: 100% Stainless Steel
Tubing O.D. Size: 2.25in.
System Type: Cat-Back
TIP O.D. Size: 4in.

Single/Dual: Single
Exit Position: Rear Exit

- Sized to fit inside tip used on Vibrant Part #1058, #1059, 1061 and 1062 and all TPV TURBO Exhaust Systems.

- Baffle measures 3.90" Outside Diameter. Will fit in any single wall exhaust tip with an Inside Diameter of 3.85" to 3.90".

- 2.5" O.D. Tuning Tube


Under my educated guess, it should fit. I checked #1059 muffler (http://vibrantperformance.com/catalo...products_id=16) and it shows almost the same specs as the magnaflow I have.

Any advice?

Idk but that is an expensive silencer.

Are silencers really worth it?
Id like to hear a before and after sound clip/drive by if you get it put in.
