Re: Mini- me Build ?'s
heres what i can tell you... you can use the z6 head gasket or the y8. i've heard the y8 is beater and cheaper so thats what one i would use. also you can take out the middle layer of the y8 gasket to boost the CR. i dont believe you have to run an external vtec oil line. (someone correct me if im wrong!) just make sure to pull the oil plug between the second and third cylinder. it used to be said that you needed the timing belt off of a vx(103 teeth). but the one off the z6(104 teeth) fits much better. you need the dizzy and plug wires off of the z6. pop in the ecu and wire in vtec and you should be set.

Re: Mini- me Build ?'s
and use the timing belt thats the same as head, our shop uses z6 head for mini me, THERE BUILT BETTER, and u can port it, get a metal y8 head gasket take out middle layer, also use a d15z1 or a d16z6 distributor, run a rpm activated switch for your vtec,
or vtec controller and tune it by a vtec light, other then that like said screw a screw into the oil pin in between 2,3 cylinder will come out with easy, and when using the d16z6 IM also use z6 fuel rail. good luck

Re: Mini- me Build ?'s
I have a 94 Civic DX 4DR with no RPM gauge. haha.
I can run a wire for the gauge from my new P08 ECU right? Also is there a guide to setting up a RPM activated VTEC switch? or installing a VTEC controller? I'm doing the mini-me with a D15b JDM VTEC head.

Re: Mini- me Build ?'s
hmm, i'll check and see if the teeth are the same on the b7 cam gear and the z6 cam gear... I think they are the same, just the water pump and such is different which causes for the new timing belt..
