Icon2 a6 block y8 head what timing belt and tensioner

ive been reading about it and i says a6 tensioner is bigger so use z6 well i got a z6 one from a friend and the bolt woudnt go in with it on the pivot point. so im guessing a6 tensioner correct me if im wrong, and z6 or y8 timing belt i know theyre the same tooth count but ones longer? anyways let me know and also how do you get off 20 year old head gasket lol i litterally had to pound my head off my a6 with a rubber mallet and now the gaskets stuck on the head and also the block thanks in advance

y8 tensioner does not fit the a6 ive tried that and a6 so for sure i have to use the a6 tensioner or some other ef d series tensioner cuz the pivot points arent the same anyway need help on the timing belt issue from someone whos done it i hear something ****ing different from everyone

i have i z6/y8 and the had to use 7 z6 head bolts and 1 y8.it has a y8 belt not sure what tensioner but it looks the same as the z6(not sure though)i also have the timing advnced two teeth.(works out real well, but not sure for you cuz of a6)also ive read that you should use the 3 layer headgasket because the y8 is not domed but pent up.but thats what ive read and not tried
