Mind Me Help. Can' find thread i'm looking for.
my current car is a 94' hatchy DX with a D15B8. I have a complete D16Z6 sitting in my old shell. I want to mini me the D16Z6 onto the bottom half of my D15B8. I was wondering what all I need to keep and what exactly needs to be done. If you could direct me to a thread with good pictures that would be great.

Yeah, why not? Its been my expirence that its much easier to just swap engines than it is to swap heads.

Re: (sohcvtec1995)
i would swap the whole motor but the rings are shot and i don't know if anything else is up with the block. plus the tranny is kinda worn the the clutch is smokes. would my B8 tranny swap right onto my D16 block. and I'd still have to do all the mini me wiring and such. so i'm thinking about it.

Re: (HybridcivicLS-T)
i did answer the question.. and gave him a heads up.. seeing that im attempting to help him out.. for what he will spend doing this mini me, and all the work involved, he can just do the z6.. I am stating this, because a mod on here made a DIY a vouple years ago saying how to do this (ie search function/stickied) he then changed his mind and advised others not to do this..

let him figure that out. The OP asked only 1 question. not inputs. Im sure he appreciates it but it looks like thats what he has at his house and is accessible to him at this time.

Re: (HybridcivicLS-T)
i don't mind the input, not to be a dick but i didn't ask for it. I just have a full ex shell at home with a full D16z6 sitting in it. what other costs would there be other that that "new" tranny. and why not just bolt up the b8.
