honestly i think the mini me swap is a waste of money and time i would just drop in a b16! and as for the swap all you really need is a vtec head i would personally get arp head studs, new head gasket, vtec controller or you can run your vtec off the ecu if you know what your doing! thats pretty much it man.

Apples and oranges. You need less tools for a mini me, less downtime, and far less money. You can do a mini me swap for around 200-300 dolalrs. Even a first gen B16 is going to cost you well over 1000 by the time you're all done with it.

I do agree that the mini me is a waste of time, and Bauley will vouch for that as well. He was greately dissapointed in his.

Wrong. You need the vtec soleniod, the necessary wiring, a ECU that supports VTEC (adding a switch to your existing one is a no no) and the actual head.

[/QUOTE]Correct me if im wrong but Doesnt the vtec head come with a vtec soleniod? and as far as the ecu i did post sayin he needed to get an ecu or a vtec controller! and you could run it off a msd rpm activator my buddy has it and vtec works just fine!
