Attempting first swap this week
i am attempting my first swap this week. its a jdm b16a turbo inta a 95 civic dx. i have been searching and looking around for weeks to gather alot of info needed for the swap. is there any last minute advice i could use before i start the swap?

If something doesn't fit correct, or go together in what feels like the correct way -STOP. Ask. Be ready to take pictures so that others can help you. A picture at times can say 1,000 words!

trust me i plan to do it right the first time. i got the complete swap from hmotors a while ago and have been slowely been putting a turbo kit together. finally my t3/to4e 60 trim comes in wednesday. ill have a camera and laptop on hand for the pics and questions and some air tools also. the only thing i dont have is a cherry picker. i am substuting that with a bobcat s300

put it in with the turbo kit off, put it in with the harness on the motor. pull off the heater hoses and stuff from the fire wall. oh yeah, raise the car up and pull the motor (IE you dont have to fool with the bitch pin until the motor is out of the car
, and diconnect the harness at the ecu and leave it on the mototr when you pull it out

yeah "take your time" Im in the middle of a similar swap and trust me "stressing out" doesnt help LOL Also dont do 2 totally different swap in the sam garage with 6 guys at the same time. Oddly enough the first car wasnt missing any bolts but now mine is hhhmmmmmm LOL
