Very subjective question, answer range from 500 dollar spring shock combo's, to 5 grand one piece coilvers, not knowing you budget i would recommend a koni/gc setup, maybe some cheaper shocks depending on your budget/ needs

im saving up for skunk2 pro-series coilovers. they're 1 piece and pretty stellar imo. i had them on my crx and absolutely loved them. ride height was as low as i wanted and more...
i havent been able to find any used ones but egay is selling them for $750shipped.

i don't know if they make them for ek's but i'd go with function form type 1, they go for about $800 i getting them for my ej1 civic coupe with buddyclub f/r camber kit. Or you can go d2 those go for around $950-$975 and are 36-way adj., were as the function form type 1's are only 12 way adj.

I've only heard the best about the koni/ground control set up. It'll set you back around $800ish. I ordered my Konis today for about $445 shipped to Miami!

Get some Koni Sports and some Ground Control coilovers. Koni is even having a big sale right now, 25% off. I just got mine for $480 shipped and let me tell you, the ride is amazing! I love them and wish I had gotten them sooner.

The Koni sale is good through June 30th at any participating site/retailer. It took about a month to get mine because Koni is behind on the orders. These are on a 96 Civic hatchback with the standard Ground Control coilover kit w/ Koni specific sleeves. I also bought the extended upper mounts for the front from GC. There is a reason why this setup is recommended over and over. It is great. My car has never rode better.

some may say other wise but the koni/gc is a tried and true setup, so yes it is the best,
the lifetime warranty does matter, you never know. although they are high quality there has been some times where they went bad, but koni to my knowledge has always repalced them.
no problem.

you can spend a grand on koni/gc or spend 75% of that on some skunk2. their products are better than omni and d2 imo. i'd never buy those coilovers :/

^^ yes, but does skunk2 have a lifetime warranty? No they do not, although i agree with you the d2 sucks omni isnt too bad, but i have skunk2 coil overs and they ride very stiff
