Bad Phearable.net ECU??? Here's the symptoms...
OBD2 B18C1
OBD2 to OBD1 Conversion on a chipped p28 gsr basemap from Phearable w/ 4000rpm two step
From idle to 4000 rpms the car runs great, doesn't smoke, nothing. Then about half of the time I try to take it up in the rpm band and it gets fuel cut from 4000-6000 rpms (sometimes I have to let it rev back down and try again). If in fact I do make it up in the rpm range to vtec it, it's not a sharp crossover, it's very vague and the car smokes up top.
Stage two of this is sometimes I'll get the car up in vtec in 3rd and 4th gear but as soon as I get up to about 7800 rpm the cars fuel shuts off leaving me only with the open throttle body noise.
Mods are...
-Vision cam gears set at 0
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-intake
-header
-exhaust with no cat, O2 sensor plugged into B-pipe
-NGK wires

Sounds like your getting to much fuel.. I'd check the spark plugs, there probably black from the gas. Then your pressure regulator, is that stock?
