Going to get a turbo kit for my EG6 Civic B16A a and i wanted to know if i need low compression piston to bump up the pressure.

The kit i am getting runs at 7PSI but its limited to protect the engine.

I wanted to know what i need to bump up the pressure.

Have you ever driven in a turbo honda before? Why the hell do you want to bump the pressure up so soon. If you want to bump the pressure then just build the motor completely. Get some 8.5:1 pistons and build the head and some rods, block guard, etc. And then you could boost up to as much as you want. Youll probably still blow the motor. Why? Because when you go turbo tuning makes you or breaks you.

BTW: rumor has it theres people that boost 15psi on stock blocks with tuning alone. Think about it.

I wouldn't boost a stock B series over 8-10 psi unless I was bloody rich. Lower compresion pistons, maybe some rods (bunch of companies make them search retailers) you could prolly boost to like 15-18 but then you will have to worry about making a crack or something of that sort in the cylinderwall. Block guard or even getting the block sleeved would make it alot safer in high boost applications.
