Default Look What I found

What does this do, I found it above my crank spocket almost resting on timing belt and why do I need it?

crank position sensor? im really not sure or maybe that sensor to catch crankshaft fluctuation? are you throwing and codes?

crank postion sensor
i think obd1 cars had it built in to the dizzy nd obd2 they put it by the belt not realy sure tho

LOL well I figured that I will prolly need it, but my D15 doesnt have it. I havent put the motor back together yet, I just wanna know if its not in my car how badly would it run?

put the Y8 oil pump on your car...if your going to use a obd 2 dizzy and or a obd2 computer your gonna need it...put a y8 oil pump and oilpan...that way you'll be able to run the sensor and you'll have 2 oil dipsticks...mean

he said oil pump, so he has a mounting point for the sensor

attempt to do it without the oilpan...then you will realize it...but if you want you can try it without using the oil pan but then eventually you will need it...good luck...hope i helped
