koni/GC horrible noise over humps
hey I installed this custom combo onto my car. I love it. But I get scared because, usually on the freeway, if I go over a hump or do something to compress the suspension real hard and quick there is a nasty noise coming from the rear pass. side of the car. Its not a clunk, more like metal rubbing metal real hard. Not a nice sound. I am sitting at a 1 finger gap with the sp3 konis on EG. I have run these shocks slammed much lower on another EG with no issues. I do have bumpstops. I am using hardrace control arms, and OE camber arms with washers, new trailing arm bushings and 15" 205 tires with rolled fenders. Any ideas?? Everything is tight, I can't figure it out. It might be the control arm hitting the exhaust, but I doubt it...

Possible that the rear control arm bushings are going bad? I had the same problem with blox control arms with the bushings going bad. Sounds like someone banging underneath my car with a hammer just pulling in and out of my driveway.

huh. I don't think so adam cause when i did all this I installed these Hardrace control arms which are supposed to be of high quality. I've checked 'em out and they look A1. I've heard that about the Blox arms... was going to buy those. Glad I didn't. the sound is a high pitched loud creak. Something metal smashing into something else. could be a bushing somewhere... My main hope is that is has nothing to do with the shock or spring but I can't be certain.
