Upper control arm bushings
My car is making a noise when I apply the brakes kinda hard or when I hit certain bumps. I jacked the car up to check it out and it needs the upper control arm bushings. My question is will I have to get a shop to press the new bushings in? It looks like a simple job. What's your opinion?

Re: Upper control arm bushings
Maybe you could rent the bushing installer from the parts store? I need to do this too.
Do suspension components need to be installed in pairs? Shocks? Springs?
Can you replace the rear control arm bushing? Or do you have to buy the whole thing?
What about pressing out the ball joint in the upper control arm? THAT looks like something you'd need a real press for.
