Default Rear lower control arm bushings, how to tell if they are bad?

I hear a loud clack sound coming from the rear of the caR when I hit a larger size pothole, if the lower control arm bushing is bad would it make a sound?

Also what would be the best remedy, replace or repair?

I did a visual inspection on mine and saw a nasty bulge.

A quick call and Mugen bushings were on the way.

Mine did not make any noise th0.
