Just put Type R cams in my JDM B16A, what should i do to TUNE it
I just put the cams in, I also did the valve adjustment to the stock spec. but the valve or the engine seem to be ticking abit loud. also it make lots of sound when i rev it up. I have DC SS 4-1 Header, VAFC, CAM GEAR (set at 0 now). also B&M Fuel Presss Regulator (set at 39-45 psi). Any suggestion what i should do it make it run smoother? also is the stock JDM B16A valves and spring good enough?

how loud is the tickering? is it louder then norm? my motor is bone stock right now and it ticks so im assuming its normal(i know i need a vavle adjustment and redo my timing but im tooo damn lazy for it)......
to tune it.... every motor is pretty diff..... i suggest getting it on a dyno... it may cost alot of money but im pretty sure once its tuned thoose R cams will shine.....

i have a similar set-up but with type-r valve train as well... no ticking here, maybe you might wanna check the rocker arms.
