sup guyz...i no this is a noob question BUT i did search and cudnt get the answers i needed. I wanna use CTR cams in my B16a sedan...wot other upgrades wud i be required to do to get this workin??? and advice pleeez....

Nothing... you can just put in the cams...

But since you're opening up the head, in order to prevent future expenditure on labour charges, you might want to consider changing the valve springs and retainers, the intake valves to Type R ones, and maybe to adjustable cam sprockets to play with cam settings.

You prob would need to change ECU too to capitalize on the cams.

But if I'm not wrong, just putting in the cams alone should give ya some gains without any other mods.

maybe 5-10 whp, not much cuz in the end they're still oem cams, they're not designed for ultimate performance, but a balance of performance and reliability. you can put them but you can't rev any higher than before you put them in, unless your willing to risk damaging your valves due to valve float at high rpm, if you have the cash upgrade valvetrain and buy skunk2 stage 2's they're streetable and add double the hp that those type r's will add. but tuning is the most important part, cuz it could drive like *** if its completly not set up.
