Just from reading I've heard that after 12:1 with good tuning, you'll need better than 92 octane

I've seen 13:1 on the streets, but you need a bunch of fuel, and 93 octane.
just my $.02

LOL where can you get 92 in CA?

Anyway, Van Nuys airport sells race gas, FYI.

My bad, I didnt notice I typed 92, your correct in that CA has only 91. Do you think a 12.0 Compression would be advisable on this octane or what would you reccomend?

It all depends on your fuel curves, and ignition timing, along with the obvious. California only has 91??? Dang, up in Spokane, there's a Shell that sell 97!!! It's like 5 bucks a gallon though.

Speaking of compression ratios...pick up the new SCC, Dave Coleman explains all about it and how to calculate it. Is it just me, or does that guy always talk about the stuff you were just thinking about???
