Default just need an answer PLZ

hey i was gonna take out my flywheel to get it resurfaced cause its making all kinds of noise, but iam hesitating because i heard it has to be torqued down?? is that true, cause i dont have a torque wrench or anything. So em i just screwed or is there away around this??

Yes, it has to be torqued down evenly in a criss-cross pattern. But you can go to autozone and borrow a torque wrench from their loan a tool program.

Get a torque wrench, you'll need it more then this one time if you plan on working on your car more. You can usually get a cheapy for about 50 bucks. You should invest in that and a helms book or if you dont want to spend the cheese just buy a chiltons or haynes book, they both have torque specs on almost every bolt on your car.

Is no one going to hit on the fact that there is no way resurfacing a flywheel is going to cure his problem? Flywheel making noise??????? How about a bad throw out bearing??? Just my 2 cents.
