Do you torque a aluminum flywheel with factory torque specs?
Before i do the install i want to know if you use the factory torque spec to torque a aluminum flywheel. I have a 96 RS. Thanks

lol its cool. I just got a great deal on a 7.5lbs fidanza flywheel and a stock exedy clutch for $250. So anyone else that can help me. really appreciate it. Also if it is factory torque do i put lock tite?

Yes. And just to make sure the flywheel seats properly I took a torch to the mating surface of the flywheel to expand it. Once it cools it will be that much tighter around the crank.

i have that same combo on my R, the gripforce deal? anyway i went 90lbs with ARP bolts, DO use RED threadlock. this wheel chatters like mad till the clutch breaks in. 80lbs to 72lbs would probably be alright too provided you use red. also clean off the crank snout and consider changing the main seal if your car has over 120k and is on the OE seal
