Torque specs for flywheel
I am ready to put my machined ITR flywheel on my B20Z that used to be an auto. Does anyone know what the torque spec/sequence is for the flywheel bolts? Is there anything else I should do/check before I put the flywheel on?
Not being an A-hole but you need a Honda manual if your going to work on your motor. Also don't use the at flex plate bolts on a flywheel, there not long enough
use "blue lock tight" and tighen them as hard as you can with a 1/2in drive. You do not want these comn back out ! I think the tq specs are around 80 ...but i usualy do about 100
I dont think you are an a-hole, but I don't NEED a honda manual to put a flywheel on, just the torque specs. And yes I do have 8 brand spanking new flywheel bolts. I have the 1/2" drive torque wrench which I will use to snug them up to 80 ft-lbs. Thank you for the info.
