jrsc em1 need help misfiring
yea well i have a 2000 honda civic si with a jackson racing supercharger at 9 psi the car has 160000 miles but i ran good anyway i drove it and parked it and turned the car back on after sitting there for a hour or two and the idle was just really misfiring and now its real bad at idle it will misfire once every three seconds and when i try to drive the car it just sputters at 15% or more throttle im not throwing any codes but i did throw a code once but it rurned off by itself and when i hook up my laptop to the hondata s300 it doesnt show any codes even tho it sputters and misfires when it did hrow the code it told me injectors but i replaced them and it still does the same thing i checked the resistor box and everything is fine it also has brand new spark plugs and wires

Check the spark plugs for sure. On datalog what does it show your timing to be at when it sputters? Do you have a wideband, what does that show when it sputters? Check cap/rotor/ignitor/dist.

yea it has brand new plugs and wires and i checked the distributor it looks perfect and it ran real lean when it sputters but at idle its perfect air fuel ratio and it still misfires every few seconds

checked the distributor again today and it seems perfectly fine and i did a compression test and it came back 185-190 across the board can someone please try to help man im trying to take it on monday to a local shop but i would love to find out myself

what kind of fuel setup are you running? do the spark plugs show your running lean or rich? make sure the injector plugs and wiring are good, this happened to my friend, thought he blew the motor only to find out it was a loose connection at the injectors.
