Default Jdm B16 OBD2 swap into my EM1 info

Is this truly plug and play or is their more to it, I'm looking at purchasing engine assembly from JDmenginescorp, I don't wanna order it and not be able to get it running. It
IM looking at ordering the b16 a or b16b to replace my b16a2 due to timing belt snapping on me while drivin 20 to 30 kph, vehicle and engine possibly Having 250 on it already
Any help would be greatly appreciated pros and cons. From what the rep said I can simply just install without issues, I'm weary about it however.

i know the jdm engines dont have ckf (crank fluctuation sensor) which the us engines have and use for emissions, you mention kph so idk how emissions/inspection relates to were you live but you may have to do the ckf wiring trick to get the engine to run on your stock ecu

also if engines obd2a or b that will make a difference, the em1 is obd2b. if the engine is obd2a youll need a distributor plug n play adapter. also if the engines obd2a youll want to use your stock obd2b engine harness and wire it up to the jdm engine

ckf is easy to add or bypass. b16b is nice.

if you get an obd2-a engine, you should be able to just swap your distributor over. if for some reason you can't, just swap the guts into the case that fits the motor.

The B series OBD2A and B distributor plugs are the same, no need for an adapter. Its only the OBD2B D series distributors use the large single plug. If you plan on using the P2T ECU from your car you'll need to bypass the VTEC pressure switch as the JDM engine won't have it. The rest other than the CKF will plug and play.

Where do I verify if it's obd2a or obd2b
I plan on using my oem ecu since the engine only comes with long block no ecu
What or how do I bypass the VTEC pressure switch, sorry this is all foreign to me
Any Link to ckf hack or mod?
