Default its been a long day and i need help

ok...I have a cel and i cant tell if its 1 or 10
as soon as i turn the key to 'on' it lights up for a little while and then it shuts off - quickly comes back on and then doesnt go away.

(on~~~|off|on~~~~~~~~~~~)

so thats a 10, right.....or 20? (i am very tired of working on the car just give me an answer w/o the bs of 'search' because yes I know what the codes mean Im just having a hard time today)

i think the cel comes on when you start the car, so i think you are getting a 10.

You have to jump the ECU to get the code. If you don't have a paper clip or something similar jumping the right lines, then all it'll do is flash the CEL to let you know to check it...

If you HAVE checked it, a one is a VERY fast flash... A ten is about half a second long...

I know because I'm throwing a code 22 right now...

^^ Invaluable.

No, the flash is each time it lights up...

Lights up for half a second, lights up for half a second, lights up twice in very quick succession = Code 22. Believe me, I know...

It'll be black for a couple seconds, then it'll do it again, over and over, until you turn off the car.

And again, the check engine light coming on without the ECU being jumped means nothing as far as diagnostics go...

I'd say get out the old continuity tester and check your whole damn car... But for electrical load sensor, which I know nothing about, I'd take it to a mechanic. Similar problem going down with this 89 Mustang some lady donated to my dad's Non-profit. Something in the electrical system's all fuzzy, so they've had it for like a week trying to track it down...

Im gonna drive an hour north to a junk yard and pull the primary o2 from a wrecked civic I saw there a month ago...
In the summer I'll just buy a new o2 from honda....when I can afford one...
(first I'll borrow a friends to make sure its not something else, like wiring)

I actually fixed code20...it was just a blown fuse under the dash for the alt. Stupid blown fuse...makin me freak out
