Hey guys , just finished up my b16a2 swap in my 99 civic si (cdm) (EX Usdm) . The first time I started the car with the new swap it cranked over and fired up , but sounded terrible ...turned out to be water in the spark plug holes, anyway sucked that **** outta there and I went to start it again today and it wouldn't crank the engine... A clicking noise comes from the passenger side of the dash every time I go to crank it. I thought it might have been the clutch safety switch but ruled that out.... Changed the clutch relay in the fuse box under the hood still nothing... ?.. I put the key to the on position and jumped the starter and it started ..needless to say I was hitting vtec 5 mins later and happy asf, but how am I gonna start my car now ? I really don't wanna ghetto rig a push button start with the key on...I want to solve the problem , Anyone have any ideas?

Check your grounds. Chassis to tranny one.

So I checked all my grounds today , there all solid and tight ..still no turn key to start , it makes no sense.. Ugh
