If money wasn't an option..
Just got a job paying $20/hr (huge ******* jump from $9/hr) and instead of buying a nicer car, the hatchback is going to grow a pair of big brass *****. Right now I have a stock b16b engine, intake/exhaust, race seats, and Si wheels. I want to make this a streetable all-motor monster since powerful boosted Civics usually have traction problems.
Please give me some specifics on parts and how much power I'll be able to see, 275whp is my goal. I also want a good suspension but nothing so stiff that shakes my teeth out over bumps. Also, which is better for n/a apps, hondata, aem, etc.? tia for the help, also let me know if this is just plain retarded and I should go 9:1 with 20psi.

I'm pretty sure if you have a civic putting down 275whp, whether it's boosted or NA, you're going to have traction problems. Just boost it if you're looking for that much power. It's cheaper and faster than trying for 275whp all motor.

I'm not going to take out a type r for a type r..
and I'm used to getting flamed here, but i did search in the boosted and type r sections. I didn't find much on what I wanted, just people saying the same thing.. to search. but when every thread has replies like that, it makes searching useless.
tekno, n/a dohc vtec builds won't have as much torque as a boosted one. 275 all motor hp on our cars means like 180 ft lbs.

Re: (drip pan)
That's also a good (and probably better) idea. I want to gather opinions from the people who have done this already and see if they would do it again.

If money wasn't an option... i would have someone make me a tranny to make a rotary engine FWD and drop it in my car with a couple extra rotors and a huge turbo.
but since it is always an issue,

WTF man.. if you searched you'd find out its damn near impossible to get 275 WHP without full ground up building of the motor. Just boost the B16B!
