Re: idle problem (bluedelsol)
Check your cold idle valve. Open it up and see the if the plastic screw has backed itself out. If it has, the back it out all the way, then screw it in. Then put it back on. Then take off the connector and adjust your idle with the idle screw on the top of the TB. Once you have the idle set at 650-700 put the connector back on.
Other things you can check are for vacuum leaks, air in your coolant system.

Also check your intake manifold gasket for leaks. Check if the nuts are loose or if the gasket needs replacing.

Re: idle problem (Spartanic)
My b16a2 does this exact thing after i drive my car hard. But it get stuck at 1500 RPM and stays till i turn the car off. Then when i start it it will idle normal for a while then back to 1500 it goes. Where is the cold idle valve at so i can check this plasitic screw??
