i have a rattling problem with my shifter
When Im on the freeway staying in 4th,5th gear my shifter starts to rattle and gets annoying. i was wandering what is the solution to this annoying sound. Is it an internal problem with my transmission like a bearing or bushing or is it an external problem where something is loose? Please give me input please.

jack the car up and get under it and tighten up the bolt that attaches the shifter to the shift linkage and your problems will go away. Just be sure not to tighten it up too much or it will be really hard to move.

Did that one before, then I lowered the car to test it. Then had to jack it up again. Just make sure you check how tight it is before you drop it.
