Does anyone else have this problem with there shifter?
I have the Hasport shift linkage with some generic gs-r style shifter. I put it into gear and it has mad play.. like i can put it into gear and move the shifter it circles...
Basicly it just has alot of play and i am wondering what i can do to get rid of it..... I already got under the car and tighten the bolt under the shifter and that didnt work. I am also using energy suspension shifter bushing that were suposed to eliminate shifter play...
Someone please gimme some helpful advice

make sure you have the O rings on the inside of the shifter sleeve. also you MUST have the oring on the shifter between the linkage and the shifter itself. There are two.

hmm.. beatss me if the o-rings are on..... the shifter was on the linkage when i bought it..... I was talking to another guy and he said it could possible be that the bottom on the shifter is to skinny and doesnt fill the linkage up and thats why it has play from left to right........ He said try getting a OEM stock B series shift linkage and get rid of my aftermarket short shifter....
Anyone wanna make a even trade, short shifter for OEM shifter? Hit me up
BTW - Thanks alot Jason.... i will see if it has o-rings and if it doesnt i'll try riggin it somehow.
