i have a 95 vx with a d16z6 motor in it if i use a z6 harness will it b plug n play for vtec??
hi all im not to sure if i have to add vtec too my ecu harness or can i plug in a z6 harness, well heres what i have,
i have a 95 vx with a d16z6 motor in it. if i use a z6 harness will it b plug n play for vtec?? or will i have to add it at the ecu still? thanks.

Since the Vx is also a Vtec engine, it should be plug and play because it should have the necessary provisions for the pressure switch and solenoid in the harness. Im not sure if theyd go to the correct pins in a P28 ecu though.

You can use the stock VX harness. The only thing you would have to change is the o2 sensor to a 4-wire o2 sensor since VX's are 5-wires.
