Okay, first off, I know I am retarded and should have waited untill I had more daylight to do this... But I'm impatient and need instant gratification.

I was trying to re-wire my OEM foglight harness on my 00 Si, following the instructions in this thread: https://honda-tech.com/zero...age=1

I did everything the thread says, minus changing the fuse. I know this is a problem, but I was surprised by the wierd results...

When I turn on my "parking lights," the headlights turn on, and the parking lights stay off. The foglights are able to be turned on at least, so that is a plus I guess. My dash lights stay off though, and the car does not beep when my doors are open like it used to. My dome light and radio and all other power functions still work properly, including the alarm...

Then when I turn on my "headlights," all the lights turn on, (foglights can still be turned off independantly though) including the dash (But still no beeping).

I did not check the tails or reverse lights to see if they come on.

WTF? It is possible that I swithced the wrong wires, but I highly doubt it. Tomorrow I will be going back over my work again and replacing my fuse, but I have no more light tonight.

Does anyone have any ideas about what may have caused this bullshit? I am 99% sure I changed the correct wires, and I don't think the fuse problem would have changed the other ****. Any help is appreciated. Peace

I know this doesn't help anything, but why is that a problem?

It definately sounds like you crossed a pair of wires to me.
