Default HP gains on diff. types of ecu's..

Can you actually gain horsepower depending on the ecu ? Like get more on a b16 or something by running a p08 compared to a p28 compared to a p-- ?

No, you use the ECU designed for that motor. Chipping the ECU can add power, but it can also lose power. You want a program that gives provides an optimal amount of timing and fuel for the motor that produces the most power. The way to get the most power out of the ECU is to use Hondata or a VAFC, something that can add and subtract fuel until the motor runs at an optimal A/F ratio throughout the RPM band.
