How many gallons is a civic fuel tank?

How many gallons is a civic fuel tank?
I've always been told it's 11.9 gallons. Some people say it's only 8 gal. I have never been able to put more then 10gallons in my tank, so does someone have an exact number?

The Si tank is 11 gallons, and I think the CX tank is like 8 gallons. There are differences between the various models.

wrong...I have a CX. I have put more then 8 gallons of gas in the tank.
