How to: install JDM access visors
when i tried looking for help here all i got was "i heard its hard", "use the clips" and "OMG JDM visors just get ones the attach with a sticker for $20" so i went ahead and installed them my self. the first side took like an hour, the second side only took like 20 min once i figured it out.
1. start off by attaching the screw ones. they go on the top by the pillar, and one close to the rear view mirror.you have to pull back the rubber on both the side and the top. there are already holes for the screws. put the bracket underneath the window sil and screw it in from the top. i guess you are supposed to use the washers for the screw bracket but i didnt, ill get to that in a minute.
2.hold the visors up to the window so you can see where you will need to place the other clips. you will need to remove that **** thing that is on towards the front middle, that is where one of the brackets will need to be located. you can get an idea of how the brackets go in when you take it out.
3. push the rubber stripping back in. i had to use a flat head screw driver to push the little rubber lip in all the way. when i pushed it all back in it didnt look as smooth or clean as it did before i installed the visors but just make sure everything is back in and it wont matterwhat it looks like b/c it willbe covered.
4. clip in the visors at each end. one goes in underneath the mirror, the other goes underneath the pillar. i had to unscrew it slightly to make it easier to slip the clip under neath. make sure all the brackets get aligned with the holes. if they are off i took a screw driver and wedged it in the rubber stripping and moved it over to where it needed to be.
5. the last step: put in the gromets. the gromets are pretty much self explanitory. if you have ever taken off your bumper, they are the same ones that are on the grill (96-00 civics, not sure about 92-95) only they are hella small so dont drop them. so put them in all the brackets with the circle holes. the brackets with the oblong holes is where i used the washers. i first used the washer where i was told to, (on the brackets that screw in) but when i tried to put the gromets in the oblong holes it wouldnt stay in so i took the washer and put it underneath the clip (or on the inside if you will) and then put in the gromets and you are done!
6. take some windex or any cleaning solution of your choice and give them a rub down b/c by now you have hella fingerprints on it.
6.2 take it for a drive and feel the JDM wind blocking action

There is a FAQ thread up on top of the EG+ forum. Look through that, there are many write ups and Im almost positive that there is one about this install and it has pics too.

Do a search for my name in this forum... you will find the diy I just rehosted the pictures.
http://www.icbmotorsport.com has the visors at a good price, they are not just snap on its a bitch to install them and takes patience.

Re: How to: install JDM access visors (ILuvJDMITR)
Somebody needs to do one for an EG. I have an EH2 but don't want to put them on that daily car. I'm still looking for a black EH3. I, also, have a couple EH/EG visor sets. On the EH/EG visors, the clips already come pressed/molded on the inner plastic/visor side. And none of the clips (even the end clips) have a hole on them to screw onto the door-window pillar. The visors don't look anything like the one's for the EK's and DC's. At least the ones I have don't. Also, both of my sets are different. My older set of visors are a solid black. My newer set are tinted, but can still see through them. Both say: Honda >PP< on the insides.
