How do I sell this car?
I've got a 95 Civic DX Coupe. It's got 187,000 miles, Brand new clutch (doing that now) and some f'ed up suspension. It also needs paint. I will have the car painted cheaply and I will replace the suspension but I'm having trouble figuring out how to market the car.
It has Eibach lowering springs (sportline 41740) and some weird front shock combination. Looks to be stock and and stock replacement. Rear shocks are stock with eibach sportlines. Car is pretty low. It has a metal grill (cheaply put in) some aftermarket foglights (look cheap) and a strut tower brace in the front and one in the rear. Interiror is decent but a little worn. It also has aftermarket mirrors (smaller than stock).
It was in a fender bender and the front fenders and the hood were replaced. No frame damage that could tell.
I'm trying to figure out how I'm gonna sell it. Should replace everything and go back to stock or market the car to someone who wants a sportier look and cares about the go faster parts?
Do you think I would get more by putting it back to stock or by keeping it lowered and with the sport stuff on it? Or does it make a difference at all?
Thanks for the input
Jason

Nice reply This should probably be in GDD or something, but what I usually tell people is you will always get more for your aftermarket parts if you take them off the car and sell them individually. Also, once you return your car to stock it makes it more appealing to the masses. It's up to you if you think its worth the hassle of going back to stock or not.

Well please do not try and sell the car here or this topic will dissappear.
I'd take the aftermarket stuff off and put it back to stock. This way everyone will be interested, not just "tuners."
I doubt the parents with cash will actively seek "modded" cars for their little Suzy or Billy to drive as a first car.
