search!!! there have been so many posts about this lately. You take the kick panel off on the passenger side footwell of your car and short the ecu code thing with a paperclip or something similar. Your check engine light will flash and show you what number code you have.

yes a straight pipe and a test pipe are the same thing. I have this code too because of my test pipe. I'm getting an obd1 conversion so that should take care of it.
